This cartridge is filled with a special black ink called "hybrid packaging ink". As the name suggests, the ink is particularly suitable for vertical (and of course horizontal) printing of barcodes, batch numbers, production and expiry dates and similar on packaging boxes using in-line printers in packaging systems. Due to its short drying time and rich blackening, it is also often used in fast inkjet personalization printers on a wide variety of paper types.
